“During the last week of June 2024,

I concluded one of my first workshops at my adopted home in the Canary Islands. It was such a gift to explore the hidden mysteries within the ordinary with six wonderful individuals. We shared our respective journeys and perspectives on the world, engaging in endless conversations about our visions and how to share them with others. I feel truly grateful to have helped such amazing souls and creatives find their way in this world. Here is the poetry that resulted from this intense week. “

Hosted by Sebastien Zanella, this workshop was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that blended lifestyle, surf, and local culture into a single creative project. Under Sebastien's guidance, students sharpened their skills and learned new techniques to capture the unique beauty of the Canary Islands. From street photography in the UNESCO-protected city of La Laguna to enjoying a sunset surf at one of the most remote locations on the island, participants explored and photographed a diverse range of subjects in this breathtaking destination.
